Shambles Over Deaths In Care

It was reported that Junior Minister Barry Andrews has had to call in Lawyers to compel the HSE to release files on the children who died in its care.

It was reported that the HSE would not hand over the documents because it claims doing so could breach secrecy rules contained in the Child Care Act 1991.

This is somewhat unbelievable, one would think that if there has been crimes committed against Children that the Junior Minister Barry Andrews should consult with the Garda Crime unit and Garda Commissioner urgently.

The Garda Commissioner should make a direction that these files be seized immediately and launch a full criminal investigation into such matters.

How can law be qouted if the law has been broken? How can such legislature have preference if actions have taken place to abuse and defile such legislation? this it would seem is clearly an abuse of the structure at law.

If the legislated law has been broken one surely cannot be seen to then call upon such law for protection?

Junior Minister Barry Andrews should immediately consult with the Garda Commissioner with a clear instruction to seize the necessary files urgently required and held by the HSE.

If warranted the Garda Commissioner should be tasked with making arrests on those who refuse right of discovery sighting an action of criminal conspiracy.
